HIFA

Healthcare Information For All

www.hifa.org

THE HIFA VISION

Every person and every health worker will have access to the healthcare information they need to protect their own health and the health of others.

THE HIFA DISCUSSION GROUP

HIFA provides a neutral discussion space for all those with an interest in the creation, exchange and use of relevant, practical healthcare information for citizens and health workers in low- and middle-income countries. It complements the CHIFA group (www.chifa.org), which focuses on the information and learning needs of those responsible for the health care of children.

HIFA is the main communication tool for the global campaign, 'Healthcare Information For All', which launched in Mombasa, Kenya, on 26th October 2006, at the 10th Congress of the Association for Health Information and Libraries in Africa. HIFA is goal-driven and action-oriented: together we are moving beyond dialogue towards collective understanding and effective action.

You can be assured that all messages that you receive will be relevant, readable, and understandable.

HIFA is open to anyone with an interest in improving health care in LMICs.
